Congratulation to Dr Macdonald on receiving the ‘The Loxley Award for Effective Governance for an Individual Governor’ at the Annual Governor’s Conference.
Congratulation to our former pupils who collected their D of E Gold Award Certificates on Wednesday 22nd February at St James’s Palace. They all looked very grown up in their smart dress and behaved impeccably. They were presented with their awards in the Throne Room by television presenter Suzi Perry. She asked questions about their D of E experience but mainly got answers about football! Mrs Withers also went along and was lucky enough to meet and chat with HRH the Duke of Edinburgh himself.

We are having a charity football match taking place between the Ash Lea Team and the Sherwood Team on March 18th 2:30 – 5:00pm at Gresham Sports Pavilion.
There will be a childrens penalty shootout, cake sale, refreshments and a raffle
The Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust received 12 entries from Rushcliffe for the Wildlife on your Doorstep awards, more than any other area in the county.
This illustrates the vibrancy of nature conservation in Rushcliffe as these nominations represent individuals and groups working at 10 different local sites.

Schools Category: Ash Lea Special School for the hard work put into creating maintaining their wildlife garden over the years. The school is also supporting the Trust’s work at Skylarks.
