The Post 16 scheme of work builds on pupils previous learning and offers the opportunity for pupils to develop and use skills in a functional way, while preparing for the future. Pupils will continue to build on core skills; communication, English and numeracy, while accessing a broad range of experiences that support their choices and aspirations for Life After Ash Lea. Pupils will experience a range of vocational subjects while also being given the opportunity for experiences of work, or work experience. Individual IEP targets, derived from EHCP outcomes, will be the golden thread which supports a pupil to reach their outcomes within the curriculum.
