Thank You to the Lord’s Taverners for our Amazing Bus

The Lord’s Taverners provides a range of specially adapted minibuses for SEN Schools catering for young people with learning and physical disabilities.

In 2017 we put in a request for a mini bus for Ash Lea School, this would enable us to take the children out more regularly and access different areas of the community. The bus has been used to take children horse-riding, fishing and to South Nott’s Academy where the older children have been using the facilities to learn how to cook for themselves.

On 13^th June, Mrs Wigley, Mrs Biddles and Ms Brown went to London and attended a presentation afternoon when we were handed the keys to the new Lord Taverners bus.
